Peter started his career in the IT industry with IBM in the early-sixties and has worked continuously in the information technology and telecommunications sector for over 45 years.

Over this period he has worked in sales, sales management, marketing, operations, systems design & development, project management, business and general management, strategic planning, strategy implementation, change management, business acquisitions and integration and the subsequent sale of these businesses

Peter was one of the founders of a service bureau group in the early 70’s which grew rapidly over ten years to be one of the largest companies of that type in Australia employing over 1200 staff. He was initially Director of Sales & Marketing and subsequently Managing Director of the Group.

Peter manages a specialist IT consulting business providing sales, marketing, general management, strategic planning and business advice to a range of IT companies. Clients have included: Optus, Telstra, Woolworths, Coles-Myer, AGL, Sydney Water, MLC, Colonial Mutual and numerous IT service providers and companies.

He has been instrumental in the establishment andmanagement of a number of IT companies in Australia and overseas. He has held and continues to hold directorships in a number of private companies and is still actively engaged as a consultant in the IT&T industry with the focus on guiding and financing new start-ups and Internet and IT related businesses.
